The Chairs

Rawya Lakkis

I am a senior at Al Mawakeb School Garhoud. Being a Lebanese national, I have always wondered why some countries failed to maintain peace. Digging further to satisfy my wonderment, I strived at several conferences in joining committees such as the Economic and Social Council, Advisory Panel and Arab League. I became persistent about economic and political issues occurring around me, and based on that, my future major was chosen. Following my interests and passion, I decided to study Economics at King’s College London. I advise delegates to remain determined and motivated throughout the conference to explore what is beyond their abilities. You can email me at [email protected]

Safa Saud

I am a senior at Al Mawakeb School Al Barsha. I first embarked on my MUN journey in 2016 with HMCD 2016 marking my first conference and I have been unstoppable since then. I take active interest in global human rights issues and have interned with several organizations to expand on my interest. I am an avid writer and I am passionate about expanding my knowledge in languages. I aim to build a career in the media industry to voice my opinion in order to make a difference. I am extremely eager to welcome you all to the first-ever AMSIMUN conference and I am looking forward to a fruitful experience! You can email me at [email protected]
